Linear Waterfront Park

The completion of our ongoing Waterfront Development will provide new park amenities in our community which include:

• - The creation of a waterfront trail that will connect the East end of the waterfront (Swing Bridge) to the West end (Low Island Park)
• - Construction of a Pavilion in Low Island Park
• - Increased parking at the West end of the Downtown core
• - Various recreation opportunities that can be utilized by individuals of all ages including the construction of a tennis court at Low Island Park
• - Diverse streetscape improvements including interpretative signage, lighting and landscaping
• - Enhancements to our Waterfront Post Office
• - Re-decking the remaining section of the ‘old docks’ that are located directly in front of our west end events pavilion

The expansion of our facilities now allows us to welcome large rendezvous to our Town!
