Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands has scenic trails for those looking for a leisurely stroll, and those looking for a more rigorous outing.
Cup and Saucer Hiking Trails 


Just past the corner of Bidwell road and Highway 540, 15 minutes drive southwest of Little Current, the Cup and Saucer offers 12 km. of hiking trails, a 2 km. adventure trail and numerous breathtaking views from atop its dramatic 70 m. cliffs. The walk can take approximately an hour, up to 4 depending on which trail you choose. The lower trail offers a relatively easy hike. The upper trails contain moderately steep climbs to access.
Lewis Twin Peaks Hiking Trail 

Just past Townline road on Highway 6 in Sheguiandah, the Lewis Trail provides a relatively easy 2 km. hike. Two scenic lookouts atop outcroppings of white and grey quartzite give excellent views of Bass Lake, Sheguiandah village and First Nation reserve, and White Rock Corner to the far west. Visitor’s should note that the trail from the peaks is more rugged, and should be handled with caution.
